Hobby project, real impact

The project required many hours of development, testing, components and 3D-printing trials. Access credentials are provided to users who choose to participate by making a voluntary donation, with no minimum amount, to the Fondazione AIRC per la Ricerca sul Cancro ETS.

The donation is made directly on the AIRC Foundation PayPal page: this website does not collect payment data. After the transaction, simply send the receipt by email to kikkosart@gmail.com to receive activation.

Install or update Alfa Dashboard

Follow the guide, connect the ESP32 via USB and authorize the device. The browser will show the native Chrome/Edge prompt to select the serial port.

Step 1

Connect the ESP32

Use a data USB cable, select the COM/serial port in the browser pop-up and make sure the device is powered.

Step 2

Authorize the device

The site checks the Chip ID linked to the account and enables flashing only on the authorized device.

Step 3

Choose the firmware

Select the stable version for everyday use or the beta version if you want to try preview features.

Step 4

Erase data only if needed

When the Tool asks whether to erase the device data, select erase only for a first installation or a full restore. To update the firmware while keeping language, theme, Custom Dash and saved settings, do not erase the data.

Use an up-to-date Chrome or Edge browser for Web Serial/WebUSB compatibility.
Make sure the correct USB drivers are installed on your PC.
If you experience issues, try a different USB cable or select the port again.
